ACDI-ILOILO Extension Office turns 1 year old as it celebrated its 1st Anniversary on June 29,2010. It was indeed a success, despite the heavy rains during the day of celebration.

As part of ACDI's traditional way of celebrating their anniversaries, ACDI-Iloilo also attended a Thanksgiving Mass and followed by their Anniversary Pick-A-Prize Promo. The smile worn by the members upon seeing the raffle items displayed on top of the shelves, and their excitement on what's inside their raffle coupon during the "PICK A PRIZE" activity were proof of their appreciation to continue patronizing the ACDI products, services, and promos.

ACDI-MDAAB CELEBRATES
ITS 18TH YEAR OF SERVICE

On June 1, 2010, ACDI-MDAAB Branch celebrates its 18th year of service to the members. Through the years, the branch has been celebrating its anniversary with an anniversary promo and a community service. This year, the branch coordinated with Brgy. 53, Yakal at MDAAB, Sangley Point, Cavite City on a project for the children of soldiers at the said barangay entitled, “Ika-18 Handog ng ACDI Para sa mga Mag-aaral ng Brgy. 53, Yakal.

“ACDI-MDAAB Gearing Up at 18” is the branch’s Anniversary Promo this year and the said promo encourages the members, both JSC and Associate members, to be thrift and invest their money for their future needs.

ACDI-FAB PARTICIPATES THE AETC SANTACRUZAN 2010

The month of May is known for its Santacruzan activities all over the country and as part of this tradition; once again ACDI-FAB Branch joined the AETC Santacruzan on May 30, 2010 Sunday at Fernando Air Base, Lipa City, Batangas. The cooperative’s representatives are our very own Ms. Diana Lumbrera and Mr. Jack Maralit. In addition, All AETC PAF units and other lending institutions participated on this traditional event.

HEALTH CHECK

A healthy workforce delivers the best kind of service to our members.  It is the ACDI Management’s most fervent desire to see a healthy workforce serving the multitude of our members unimpeded by health-related restrictions.  It is for this reason that the Management holds its Annual Physical Examination (APE) for all personnel.

Last 29 May 2010, Personnel from ACDI-Head Office, CVJAB and GHQ Branches proceeded to the Head Office Multi-Purpose Area to undergo the said examination.  This activity was made possible thru the facilities provided by Grepalife Health Insurance, the coop’s insurance provider.  There were about 82 individuals who underwent medical examinations.  In general, the conduct of APE was indeed as success.  With this, members can always expect a healthy workforce continuously providing them valuable services.

Team Building 2010 (one ACDI)

ACDI Head Office conducted its Team Building Activity last May 22, 2010 at the Sanctuary Spa at Maya-Maya, Nasugbu, Batangas, with a total of 70 participants. This year’s HO Team Building Activity aims to: instill the value of cooperation, unity and group effort among the participants; to build and solidify working relationships, gearing towards character development and to develop a high performing team. And to achieve this, various activities that required physical, mental and emotional skills were conducted. The activity ran for almost an hour and a half, wherein all participants actively participated. Said activity enabled the development and strengthening of new relationships.

   Towards the end of the activity, participant’s observation and inputs were discussed. Overall, the activity was indeed a success. All participants had fun and were able to relax and bond with their co-employees.

ACDI BADMINTON TOURNAMENT
2ND QUARTER 2010

In line with the celebration of ACDI Savings and Credit Cooperative’s 28th Anniversary Celebration, ACDI-Head Office had its 2nd Quarter of 2010 Badminton Tournament at ACDI-HO Bldg, AFPOVAI, Phase I, Taguig City last May 13, 2010. For this quarter, the Orange Team led by Vice President for Admin and Support, MGEN Jovito Gammad (Ret) became the Over-all Champion of the said tournament.

ACDI Savings and Credit Cooperative have so many reasons to be grateful for as it reaches its 28th year of service to its members. ACDI-ABAB CELEBRATES ACDI’S 28TH ANNIVERSARY
WITH A PICK-A-PRIZE PROMO

In celebration of ACDI Savings and Credit Cooperative’s 28th Anniversary, ACDI-ABAB Branch conducted a gimmick, the “Pick-A-Prize” from May 11 to May 31, 2010.  ACDI items and goodies were given as prizes to all lucky winners during the gimmick period. All members from ABAB and even other ACDI branch’s members who transacted from 11-31 May 2010, were also given the chance to join the said promo.

ACDI- TARLAC INAUGURATION

The first ever in the history of ACDI to establish an office outside a military base, ACDI-Tarlac remarkably put its office outside Camp Aquino.  This seemingly spontaneous but intensively planned undertaking is a consequence of ACDI’s expansion of services to the AFP pensioners.      
Because of the effort of Team ACDI-Tarlac led by its Vice President for Northern Luzon Area Operations, Ms. Melody S Loria (VP-NLAO), the mobile office was upgraded into a branch on August 1, 2009 and was inaugurated as a branch on the 8th of April 2010. On the said inauguration, VP-NLAO Ms. Loria turned over the branch duties and responsibilities to its new Branch Manager, Ms. Ma. Wanda Serrano.

ACDI GHQ Branch 9th Year Anniversary Celebration

The ACDI – GHQ Branch celebrated its 9th Year Anniversary as a Branch last 05 April 2010. The celebration started with an ACDI GHQ-sponsored Mass at St. Ignatius Cathedral, CGEA, Quezon City. The Grand Raffle Draw for the “Lucky 9 Anniversary Promo” was held on the same day.

ACDI-Head Office General Assembly and Election 2010

OThe fifth and final part of ACDI's Sequential General Assembly and Election on March 27, 2010 at PAF Aerospace Museum, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City continually marks the success of the cooperative's first ever sequential GA and Election. Overall, the five parts of the sequential GA and Election Steering and Working Committees led by Vice President for General Administration and Support MGEN Jovito P Gammad, worked hard and showed their great determination to make the said event successful. The cooperative's E-Voting System was recognized by the members who found it interesting in such a way and convenient for the Canvassing Committee. Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Representative, Leonardo A. Agcaoli witnessed the said election which is followed by the general assembly. Chairman of the Board MGEN Gilbert S Llanto awarded the Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Agcaoli (CDA Representative) during the assembly. Also, both Regular and Associate members who attended the event had their chances on the raffle promo to win some door prizes like ACDI tumbler, shoebag and Backpacks. ACDI Savings & Credit Cooperative declares Dividend for CY 2009 2nd Sem at 18%

One of the privileges of belonging to a cooperative as a member-owner is the benefit of partaking the fruits of success of a highly favorable operational year.As a result of gainful 2009 operations, ACDI Board of Directors have recently declared to give back part of its Net Surplus in the form of Dividends on Share Capital Contribution (SCC) to our members. 

Thus, ACDI gives away a total of P41.4 Million dividend equivalent to 18 % interest rate on SCC for CY 2009 2nd semester. This benefit is simultaneously distributed in all ACDI branches and offices nationwide starting March 02, 2010 onwards.

     With this, we are proud to say that ACDI has been in the past years and until now giving out the highest dividend interest rate on Share Capital.  This is just one of the ways to show ACDI’s proper handling of its members’ resources and returning the favor, trust and confidence given by its members in the cooperative.

ACDI - EAAB branch visits Ayala-Sinuluc Veterans Post

ACDI - EAAB branch visits Ayala-Sinuluc Veterans Post last January 30, 2010. Upon arrival, our veterans gave a warm welcome to our staff. Branch Manager Ms Eloina Mangaya-ay gave the veterans details of our products and services while distributing loan flyers. Our staff also gave away raffle items to some lucky veterans, Welcome to our new members!

ACDI GOES TO PMA

In connection to the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Batch 2010 Graduation Ceremony on March 01, 2010 at PMA, Baguio City, ACDI led by Vice President for Northern Luzon Area Operations, Ms. Melody S Loria conducted an information campaign last February 12, 2010 to put in the picture the cooperative’s mission and vision, and also put forward its products and services to the PMA cadets.
