ACDI MPC IMPORTS DAIRY CATTLE
ACDI MPC ventured in Agribusiness with a long-term goal of becoming one of the major players in securing the food supply in the country thus the establishment of Agribusiness Division (ABD) in September 2015. ABD operates vegetable farming, poultry breeding, and cattle production in its 15-hectare farm in Ibaan, Batangas.
On May 16, 2017, ABD as part of its major expansion program imported 240 dairy cattle from Australia of which 238 are pregnant heifers and two (2) pure breed jersey bulls. The cattle arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) through a chartered aircraft, and were subsequently quarantined at ACDI Farm, Brgy. Munting Tubig, Ibaan, Batangas.
This endeavor is in line with ABD’s intention to be the leading producer of island-born dairy cows, contribute to the domestic milk production in the country, and create employment within the locality.
