Study Visit of Palawan State University Multipurpose Cooperative
Palawan State University (PSU) Multi-purpose Cooperative’s Chairperson, Dr. Erlinda A. Ganapin, and its General Manager, Mr. Noel M. Callorina visited to ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC) Head Office in Taguig City on May 25, 2017. They were welcomed by members of the ACDI MPC Board of Directors headed by MGEN GILBERT S LLANTO AFP (RET), with selected officers from the management team led by BGEN LORENZO R SUMICAD AFP (RET), President, and selected heads of the various Complementary Business Lines (CBL’s).
ACDI MPC shared its journey and how it managed to sustain its growth through the years. The discussion on sustaining growth centered on the various CBLs of the Cooperative, particularly on how ACDI MPC successfully expanded its core business of lending. These CBLs include aviation services, education, convenience store, insurance, healthcare, agribusiness, construction and tourism, among others.
PSU has since been a source of ACDI MPC employees. Currently, the Cooperative employs 11 alumni from the said University. The Executive Vice President of ACDI MPC and incumbent Chairperson of the Cooperative Bank of Palawan, Ms Esperanza G Cauyan, is a distinguished alumna of PSU. Joining her in the ranks are four (4) Certified Public Accountants, two of them are holding Managerial Position.
