Central Luzon Branches Carry on New Airmen Caravan
ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative continues to live its vision in being the leading Cooperative System of diversified services reason for its area operations exert extra effort in conducting different caravans. On May 16, Central Luzon Area Operations Branches which compose of Air Force City, Basa Air Base, Tarlac and San Antonio conduct New Airmen Caravan at 710th SPOW, AFC, Clarkfield, Pampanga.
The caravan was organized by AFC Branch headed by Ms Mary Joy Plant and is overall supervised by Ms Francine Luanne Collantes who oversees the entire Central Luzon Area Operations. According to Ms Collantes, two weeks before the event became the crucial days in their preparation for they have to complete all the requirements needed in order to make the service of the Cooperative available to the new defenders of this country.
“As CS Lewis once said ‘Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.’ The desire of the entire team to serve came primarily as we took on the challenge and opportunity to conduct the new airmen caravan operations. With the involvement, teamwork, and resolve to open better opportunities for the graduates as they take on their new lives as heroes of the country, everyone in the team involved in the planning and implementation from the Board of Directors and President down to our utiltymen/messengers. We were able to turn adversities and setbacks around into possibility and reality, and this eventually led to the success of the new airmen caravan operations”, Collantes said.
Overall, the team was able to generate loans from 153 accounts which is totalling to 23.7 million. Moreover, the team was able to add 246 new members to total membership of ACDI MPC from this batch of new soldiers.
“The recently held caravan operation at Central Luzon is just one of the programs we have in bringing our products and services closer to all our members. Asahan natin na marami pa tayong susunod na mga caravan at iba pang programa, ilalapit natin ang ACDI sa lahat ng ating miyembro sa buong Pilipinas. We will not stop in strengthening our operating capabilities to better serve every communities where we operate and subsequently be our members’ partner in progress”, said Executive Vice President for Lending Operations, Ms Glenda Lita Ersando.
