ACDI MPC: Envisioning the Future
In today’s highly competitive business, a well-done strategic plan is a pre-requisite in ensuring that the business is on track towards achieving its mission and vision. Thus, last June 26 to 27, 2012, the ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative in partnership with the Cooperative Union of Taguig and Pateros (COUNTPA) conducted the Strategic Tracking and Planning Workshop at the ACDI Multipurpose Hall, BGen Felix T. Pestana Bldg., AFPOVAI Phase I, Western Bicutan, Taguig City. Apart from being a compliance to Article 44 of Republic Act No. 9520 and Rule 7, Section 5 of its Implementing Rules and Regulations, the workshop was done as a primer to the upcoming ACDI MPC Strategic Planning scheduled in July 2012.
The 20-hour seminar-workshop covers the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of a member of the Board of Directors, the General Manager, and other officers of the cooperative in establishing the strategic direction and tracking the evaluation of its performance. It was attended by the members of the ACDI MPC Board of Directors, top management, selected Area of Operations and Head Office Vice-Presidents, as well as managers and selected personnel who will form this year’s Strategic Planning Team. Representatives from the ACDI MPC subsidiaries and Koop King Multipurpose Cooperative also attended the seminar-workshop.
It is expected that the knowledge acquired during the aforesaid two-day activity will be of use during the conduct of the actual Strategic Planning which aims to develop the necessary strategic procedures and operations to influence and achieve the future desired by the ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative in the next five (5) years.
