ACDI-GHQ BRANCH BASIC COOPERATIVE SEMINAR
A Basic Cooperative Seminar (BCS) was held in GHQ Branch on October 7, 2017. A total of 25 associate members were upgraded to regular status after successfully completing the seminar.
The BCS is a mandated activity for all associates members to undertake before upgrading to regular status. It aims to develop responsible regular members who have the right to vote and be voted upon during elections of the Cooperative. The BCS Program is designed to deepen the awareness and knowledge of members about ACDI MPC and the Cooperative Movement as a whole, to include its history, principles, and current development.
Also, a short briefing on ACDI’s Complementary Business Lines (CBLS) proceeded after the BCS to apprise members on the Cooperatives’ current development.
