Members of ACDI-Fort Magsaysay Branch got a chance to indulge in the beauty of the countryside, take in fresh air, and learn about the dairy industry during ACDI MPC’s 41st Anniversary Celebration. The members were invited to a day tour at Aces Philproducers Corp’s. (APC) Dairy Buffalo Farm in Nueva Ecija, an event facilitated in partnership with King Aces Travel and Tours Services Inc. (KATTSI).\r\n\r\nAfter a warm welcome from the Head of Northeast Luzon Area Operations, Ms. Helen Joy Gavino and Head of Fort Magsaysay Branch, Ms. Anne Neriz Castro, with APC President, Ms. Glenda Lita Ersando, the group savored premium Carabao delicacies served during lunch at KARDELI Muñoz, an all-day breakfast restaurant.\r\n\r\nExcitement rose as they arrived at the farm, witnessing the actual carabao milking process while sipping complimentary APC milk products. Members expressed their interests in organic fertilizer and raising carabaos for livelihood. They showed their gratitude by taking home APC and RAMKING products as tokens.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe tour concluded with a picnic at the farm riverside, where Kapeng Barako and APC Products (fresh milk, white cheese, choco spread) were served. The members were delighted of the distinct experience provided by ACDI, giving them an opportunity to learn more about the Cooperative’s complementary businesses and connect with co-members.
