Taguig City Government cites ACDI MPC’s achievements
ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative remains as one of the highly-recognized and multi-awarded cooperatives in the country. On October 27, 2017, the Taguig City Government presented the Taguig Coop Spirit Award to ACDI MPC citing the significant increase in the organization’s assets, which is proof to its being the largest Cooperative in the country today. Likewise, MGEN GILBERT S LLANTO AFP (Ret), ACDI MPC’s Chairperson, was also chosen as one of the recipients of the Taguig Cooperative Icon Award for championing the Cooperative Movement in Taguig City and to the rest of the country.
The Awarding Ceremony was held in conjunction with the culmination of the Cooperative Month Celebration at the Taguig Lakefront Hall. Said event was attended by various cooperative leaders from across the city, and was graced by the City Government officials and partners led by the Honorable Ricardo Cruz Jr. as Vice-Mayor with Councilor Amparo Maria Zamora, Chairperson of the Committee on Cooperatives and Peoples’ Organizations of Taguig City. In attendance on behalf of ACDI MPC were Director BGEN FRED M PAYAWAN AFP (Ret), President BGEN LORENZO R SUMICAD AFP (Ret), and selected officers from the management.
